The host and hostess are the friendliest folks you would ever want to meet. Great selection of food from a simple breakfast to more elaborate fare.

Take a few minutes to try out their full size racquetball court which also can accommodate the growing sport of pickle ball. My wife and I had great fun playing and getting some great exercise in a short period of time.

The resort has an awesome great room that is outdoors yet in a sheltered area that has large ceiling fans that give the perfect gentle breeze on hot days.

The host is very helpful in giving suggestions and helping you plan activities or just kicking back and relaxing around the pool or at the fun bar area.

Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

Great place, great hosts and great kitchen!

Everything you need onsite, incredible chillin spot and minutes from the beach! The bartender Jenny is the BEST, Leslie in the kitchen serves up homemade dominican and american dishes and Junior keeps an eye on the place and coffee brewing early!

Great staff, the owners Jose and Vasthi are so nice and extremely helpful plus the rates are great and the beds huge and comfy. Such a wonderful time I’ll come back every trip to DR!

Excellent place to stay in Puerto Plata

Although it is a little ways from the center of Puerto Plata, this is an excellent place to stay and enjoy the nearby beach.

The sites, like the Teleferico were only a short taxi ride away. The service and food were excelente! The facility is beautifully decorated and gives a feeling of tranquility and tropical paradise.

This is a family run business and the personal touch and care for all the services provided was much appreciated. For instance, my son had an ear infection when we arrived and the proprietor personally drove us to a recommended clinic to have a physician attend to my son. This was our favorite of all the places we stayed while exploring this beautiful island.

We spent a week at Loase while helping at Project Las Americas.

Joseph is a friendly host that will help you as much as he can. He made our stay memorable.

They had just opened the Restaurant this year and the food that their cook prepared was great. Make sure that you find out what the daily special is before you order.

I had a great time, it is tucked away from the beach, nice & quiet, but a minute or so away from everything.

The service was great!

Because it’s not a huge resort, the staff was extremely hospitale and gave me individual attention. They really went out of their way to make me feel at home, which honestly wasn’t very difficult in the comfortable and serence setting.

The resort is located just minutes away from shops and cafes and within walking distane of the beach. There’s so many activities to take part in, from scuba diving and swimming with dolphins to horseback riding and racquetball (which is conveniently located on the resort!) There’s also a nice, clean swimming pool that’s a perfect place to just relax or read a book (my personal favorite).

My room was clean and well-maintained, as was the bathroom, which was private. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there and will most definitely be returning.

Loase is a great little place with some surprising amenities (like an excellent racquetball court!).

The owners are a wonderful couple that live onsite and are very hospitable as well as fun and entertaining. The setting is very private with an almost remote feeling and is nestled very near a very nice, quiet beach.

Despite the “remote” feel, the place is actually only about 10 minutes from downtown Puerto Plata, which can be very convenient. Also, it has a quality sound system and occasional musical entertainment, so it can be pretty lively as well.

Visiting Loase in December from Alaska as I was, it was like finding a little piece of paradise!
